IMC acquires McDonald’s Germany as a new customer
IMC’s e-learning modules support prospective shift supervisors with their training
IMC AG, one of the world’s leading providers of learning, talent and new media solutions, has recently supported the training of McDonald’s Germany’s shift supervisors with an e-learning module. From existing learning folders which cover topics including food hygiene and product safety, IMC has created an individual e-learning course for its customer using modern formats. Following the first module which has already been supplied, further modules are currently being worked on.
As part of a new overall concept, McDonald's Germany is focusing on digital learning to train its prospective shift supervisors and has commissioned IMC AG with the conceptualisation and technical implementation of the e-learning courses. The contents of the learning folders used so far have been transferred to an e-learning module which makes future learning even more diverse and enables employees to receive training at any time and in any location.
With the e-learning module covering ‘food hygiene and product safety’, recurring characters appearing in comic style and examples from everyday situations over several chapters create the right mix of educational fun and goal-orientated knowledge transfer. At the end, users get the opportunity to go through what they have learnt in the form of an overview.
With the conceptualisation of its new media content, the team at IMC attaches great importance to incorporating new formats and ideas over and over again. “Learning should be fun. We are happy to combine classic web-based trainings innovatively with a wide variety of modern media elements. Also, with the learning module for McDonald’s, it was important for us to render the contents creatively”, reports Dr Kathrin Bergenthal, Director of New Media at IMC.
